Team Overview

The Atlanta Water Jocks ("AWJ" or "Jocks") is a member of the United States Masters Swimming (USMS) organization.  The team was formed in January 2003 with the following overall objectives:

• To promote the sport of amateur swimming competition
• To compete in Masters Swimming and Open Water Events
• To improve oneself in the sport of swimming
• To have fun
• To experience camaraderie and develop new and long lasting friendships

Although our objectives are to compete while having fun, we are not a team that requires only experienced and/or super-competitive athletes.  We welcome anyone who has the desire and ability to swim, and who is interested in having fun while attending scheduled competitions as a group.  Happy Swimming!
