The Atlanta Water Jocks ("AWJ" or "Jocks") is a member of the United States Masters Swimming (USMS) organization. The team was formed in January 2003 with the following overall objectives:

- To promote the sport of amateur swimming competition
- To compete in Masters Swimming and Open Water Events
- To improve oneself in the sport of swimming
- To have fun
- To experience camaraderie and develop new and long lasting friendships
Arena and the Atlanta Water Jocks
We are proud to announce that on January 2013, the Atlanta Water Jocks entered a partnership with Arena. We are the ONLY Master Swimming Team in North America that is sponsored by this great and well known swimming and apparel brand. AWJ members will have access to Arena items at discounted prices if purchased through our preferred vendor All American Swim Supply. Moreover, AWJ members participating to Master Nationals will receive free Arena items, such as t-shirts, caps, goggles, warm up suits, backpacks and highly discounted technical suits.
Jocks take Third at Auburn Invitational - February 2013
Amy Web, Britta O'Leary, John Fields, Andy Dyer, Felicia Bianchi, Lynn Bech and Heidi Natkin attended the Auburn Invitational in Auburn, AL. The team placed third overall. Britta and John both won the high point awards for their respective age groups. Heidi, Andy, Lynn, Felicia and Amy all had great swims and many wins bringing home lots of point for the team. Congratulations to everyone and way to GO Jocks!. A great review of the Auburn swims and performances of the AWJ was reported on the February Georgia News letter. See attached below:
